Kelsie Kimberlin releases an official music video for song “Perfume”

“Perfume” is my third video of 2025 and, like the previous two, I filmed this in Kyiv, Ukraine during breaks of my full-length movie about Ukraine. However, unlike my other songs, there is no hidden or dual meaning to this song other than that it shows the beauty and love that Ukrainians have for each other and their proud capital. In the video, I don’t say a word to my partner, or sing along with the music. Instead, my presence and my perfume are enough to draw us close to each other and keep him following me through the cobblestone streets of Kyiv. The scenes are touching, meaningful, and memorable. Perfume, like love, can be intoxicating and sometimes no words are needed to describe the powerful attraction of both. Although the video seems idyllic, just hours after we filmed it , a powerful attack drone hit an apartment just minutes from where I was having dinner with the film crew, killing 15-year old Mariya Troyanovskaya. I want to dedicate this video to her. P.S. For those Beatles fans, you will note that the musical tag line at 2:38 is a nod to the end of the song, “I Will.”
