Kelsie Kimberlin provides raw and authentic reflections about the problems that challenge everyone around the world

Based in Washington DC, Kelsie Kimberlin is a Ukrainian-American singer-songwriter who writes moving and poignant music about important societal issues, captured in her captivating pop sound. Having always been surrounded by music, when she was growing up she used to sing in choirs, took part in Yoko Ono’s Peace Project and spent much of her free time in the studio working on an abundance of original material.

Offering a rare sense of honesty in her songwriting, she provides raw and authentic reflections about the problems that challenge everyone around the world. Delivering the first taste of her artistic endeavour, in 2020 she released her debut single “Lobotomy” and immediately set the tone for what was to come via a song about people’s willingness to shirk reason and blindly follow a demagogue.

Continuing to share beautiful music with important messages such as sophomore single “American Guns” written about the obsession with deadly weapons in the USA to “Masterpiece”, a self-confidence anthem for embracing the beauty inside, she now brings us her 2021 single and music video for “Right Place Wrong Time”.

Written about a toxic relationship and the mental health struggles faced by many of the world’s young people, on “Right Place Wrong Time”, Kelsie Kimberlin lays down the very best of her mesmerising songwriting. Opened by a haunting reverb-drenched piano arrangement before her vocals enter to spin elegant melodic leads carrying emotionally-charged lyricism, she crafts a moving and dreamy pop sound wrapped up in a delicate atmospheric soundscape.
