High school was difficult for me for many reasons and it caused me a great deal of anxiety. Instead of therapy, I escaped from my worries with intoxicating substances leaving behind a trail of pain for my family and friends. But they believed in me when I did not believe in myself and helped me recover. I could not have done it alone and I am so thankful to them. I know many other families who have suffered through the same difficulties and some have also seen recovery while others have suffered tragedy. I hope this song will help others to get through difficult times and to lean on those who love them.
